Kamisama (Gods & Goddess) picture storyteller. Artist.
Born on July 14, in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
After graduating from Meiji Gakuin University with a degree in sociology, she became an announcer at NHK Kanazawa Broadcasting Station.
After leaving the station, she worked as a freelance announcer, interviewing actors and directors in Japan and other countries at movie release press conferences and red-carpet events.
In 2009, she began her career as a picture storyteller as Natchan.
Natchan has been actively performing a local picture-story show based on Japan’s folk tales and customs.
She also performs Kamisama (gods & goddess) picture-story show based on “Kojiki” and “Nihonshoki” the ancient scriptures of Japan.
Since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, she started performing her shows in Tohoku region to bring smiles to the people in the affected area.

A tourism-ambassador for Ishikawa prefecture.
She also combines spiritual ceremony and art in her artistic activities. Examples include the artwork using "Ryutai-moji," Japan's most ancient scripts, and hand-written prayer books that express the ‘Words of the Great Purification’ and spirits of dragon.
