Born on January 8, 1988, in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture.

She is a radio personality, hosting the FM Miyazaki (JOYFM) Radio Paradise ‘Mimi ga Koishita Monday’ since 2018 after winning auditions.

Radio, anime, manga, and cat lovers. Mother of two children. A free personality who is active in a wide range of activities such as event hosting, narration, commercial appearance, TV reporter, etc.

"Takachiho KAMIASOBI" is a festival that began on the spring equinox of 2021 in Takachiho-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture, the birthplace of mythology.

Both men and women participate in group dance to pay homage to their predecessors and the earth. They are currently holding dedication pilgrimages throughout Japan.

He performs at venues and events in western Japan where he has a special connection, including live houses, cafes, and festivals.

We are Harau Hula o Moana's Jingu classroom team.

We host lessons at the community center near Miyazaki Jingu Shrine.

Every Thursday is a Wahine (female) class, and this year we also started a Kane (male) class.

Hula is enjoyable health management method that you can continue all your life.

As people continue practicing, their movements become more graceful, and they naturally acquire a sense of elegance.

A singer known for her improvisational style, who cherishes the moment and resonate with the surrounding places.

She collaborates with artists across various genres and performs her songs in a wide range of settings, from local cafes, outdoor festivals across country, to hometown festivals and occasionally overseas.

In addition, she also arranges and showcases the folk songs from Miyazaki roots, under the name Houko Hyuganatsu.

She also occasionally hosts voice workshops in natural settings.

Guided by the sound and music, she follows through the air and sings for the hope.

Born in Miyazaki.

She started classical ballet at the age of 10, studied jazz dance and tap dance, and performed in musicals in Tokyo.

She later became fascinated by Balinese dance and continued her training in Bali. As a Balinese dancer, she performed in dinner shows and events in Tokyo.

In 2008, she established Bianglalah in Miyazaki and has participated in many events.

Recently, she has been challenging herself to perform Balinese dance outside of Balinese music!

Born in Canada, she has lived in Japan for 32 years and currently resides in Miyazaki Prefecture.

She is a multi-instrumentalist, playing mainly flute, harp and keyboards.

She has studied Hindu classical music bansuri and vocal music for two years under Yagnyaseni Manjumder Mitra.

To date, she has released three albums:

“Five Elements Collaboration Album”(2018).

“Morning Meditations” (solo work 2019).

Recently, she has collaborated with Kenji Azuma on “Chakra Soundscapes”.

Her musical style uses native instruments and sounds of nature, layering these sounds to create colour and texture, creating a fantastical atmosphere. She is passionate about the fusion of Indian raag and improvisation, and meditative healing sounds.

She loves simple instruments. With a voice that springs from the earth and a poetic sense of the world, she transmits an earth-coloured and colourful wonder world.

This time, together with Miyazaki-based artist Maryse Dumas, they bring to the audience a sound universe that transcends time and space.

This is a citizens' club for enjoying Noh performances, dance, and music, without the Noh mask and costumes. Noh is designated in an “Intangible Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO.

She is a singer of “Fermenting People”,   “Imagine Bon Dance Club” and “Love and Light”.

She cherishes songs of indigenous people,   village festivals, folk songs from around the world…

Ai is a powerful singer who resonate with   and celebrate the nature.

She walks with Native Americans, singing   with the birds, and resonate with the earth.

Songs of the primitive, the murmur of the   heart, the wavering of the "awai"…

She embodies the joy of harmonizing with   the world, transcending all boundaries of race, ideology, language, and   culture, by expressing her gratitude and awareness of nature in her songs.

Shokichi Kina,

Born in Okinawa in 1948, Shokichi is known for his song "Haisai Ojisan," which became a big hit in Okinawa and Japan in the early 1970s. He also championed the Peace Movement. As a musician with a global presence, he embraced the slogan "Turn every weapon into a musical instrument, every base into a flower garden, and aim for festivals rather than wars to fill every human heart with flowers."

Shokichi and GINKO, who led the 1997 (Onari) festival at Shuri Castle Suimui Utaki, along with the 12-year-long Hedo no Omizutori ceremony, commenced their joint activity in November 2019 by performing Swan Dance in a desire to restore Shuri Castle.

Born in Kirikiriroa o Aotearoa (Hamilton, New Zealand), lives in Melbourne, Australia.

His ancestry is Waka of the Tainui people, connected to the Waikato (mother) and Hauraki (father).

At the festival, he will be teaching Haka, the traditional Maori dance. The Haka dance was originally performed as ritual or before battles to symbolize the strength and unity of the tribe.

Born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Former NHK Kanazawa announcer.

Natsuko performs original “kamisama kamishibai” (picture story shows of gods and goddesses) and other original works based on local legends from all over Japan and Japanese mythology such as the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters).

She also holds storytelling workshops using customers' illustrations and other audience-participatory storytelling activities that can be enjoyed by all.

Born in Kushiro, Hokkaido.

Yuji has been active as a professional performer since his teenage years. He has continued to be involved in music as a producer since then.

He started performing solo in 1994 with his unique style of improvising on ethnic instruments.

In 2006, he was in “Gaia Symphony No. 6”—-The Sound of the Void—-. He performed throughout Japan and in the USA, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, and South Korea.

In addition to public performances, he has given numerous dedication performances at shrines, temples, archaeological sites and other sacred places in Japan and abroad.

With over 40 year of meditation practice, he considers himself as a conduit and the sound he plays is renowned for resonating with the innermost essence, which reside deep within the human spirit.
